CISM Update Training – ICISF Refresher Course

Join us for a CISM Update Training that meets the ICISF refresher requirement for Group Crisis Intervention and Assisting Individuals in Crisis, both of which require re‑certification every 5 years.

This course is open to anyone and is a great opportunity to re‑up your peer support skills, review core CISM concepts, and strengthen your ability to conduct effective debriefings.

New Behavioral Health Initiatives Are Live

We’re excited to announce that two key behavioral health programs are now live on our website under the SERVICES tab:

• Behavioral Health Grants

• EMDR Services

These initiatives are designed to support the mental and emotional well-being of first responders. But they only work if people know about them! We are counting on YOU to be the mental health champions in your department. Please help spread the word so your colleagues can take advantage of these resources.

• The PEER SUPPORT page on our website is now active! We are looking to add more pictures and bios to the site. If you are someone who tends to be more interested in the peer support aspect of our team rather than the group setting, this is a perfect opportunity for you! Click HERE to complete your bio.

• Certificates Needed: If you have not forwarded your ICISF Completion certificate, please do so to msavetski@mcfrst.org 

• Ohio CISM Network Registration: We are needing to renew our Ohio CISM team registration. If you are a new member of our team and have not completed an application form yet, please do so and email the completed form to msavetski@mcfrst.org. If you are unsure about the date you completed the "Group CISM" training, please leave it blank. Application Forms can be found HERE.
